1 /5 Chrs Y: I usually don’t have the time to leave reviews — I’m a full-time student, I work part-time, I’ve got a giant German Shepherd and a hyperactive Husky puppy, so my days are packed.
I stopped in and unfortunately must have seen the one competent person there today heading out for lunch. As she left, some kid who clearly knew nothing about anything — but acted like he was running the place — shouted across the room at her, then whispered some nonsense (while snickering like a cartoon villain) to the two kids who were “trying” to price my 2025 laptop from Best Buy down the street. (shouldnt be that hard).
High School Kid #1 clearly had no clue about computers (or even how to pronounce “Hewlett-Packard,” which was actually kind of funny). High School Kid #2 jumped on eBay, found the absolute lowest price imaginable in under 10 seconds (probably not even the same one), didn’t show me the screen, offered me half of that then put in his metaphorical headphones and went off to la la land, I presume.
Let’s be real: when you’re buying a laptop, a PC or PS, or anything tech-related, you go to Amazon, Best Buy, maybe Craigslist — not the sketchiest lowballer on eBay. So why is that your pricing model? At least average a few listings if you’re absolutely stuck on using eBay. It’s not rocket science — but apparently too much for this Lord of the flies operation.
That kind of behavior is the worst. Taking advantage of people who are already stretched thin or just trying to make an honest deal is cowardly. It’s not just unprofessional — it’s predatory. But hey, that’s cool. Let’s all just devolve into animals and act like predators.
In short: unprofessional, immature, and shady. If you value your time or tech, go literally anywhere else.
