5 /5 Crystal Serpico: When I knew I wanted a custom engagement ring I googled local jewelers. After reading reviews from local places, I landed on MCJ Jewelers. It was one of the best decisions I’ve made. Their customer service is beyond incredible. A family run store that truly knows how to make you feel like a valued customer. My design choice was different from your typical ring, and I was worried that no one would be able to bring it to life. After my engagement ring came out perfectly, I had my custom wedding bands made here as well. Serkis is one of the most amazing artists around. I still can’t comprehend how he brought everything I wanted and more into this piece so perfectly. It took a little while to nail out exactly what I wanted, but they were so patient with me and so attentive and worked so diligently. I truly cannot recommend them enough.

5 /5 Laura Jerbi: Needed several watch batteries…very quick service. Staff is very nice. Will be going back to see about some vintage jewelry, converting clip on earrings to pierced and a cocktail ring into a pendant later this summer.

I provided them with some photos of what I’d like the ring to look like and they helped me pick out an incredible stone. The ring was absolutely beautiful and they went above and beyond to get everything completed quickly for me. My fiancé absolutely loves her ring. Highly recommend going to MCJ Jewelers, was an incredible experience!

5 /5 Charlotte: I broke my chain that had a gold heart with some of my mothers cremains in it. I have never had it off in almost eight years. So I stopped at the jeweler in Buffalo Grove, MCJ, and they repaired it the same day, which was shocking. They were so friendly and kind, and I even offered to pay them more than what they asked for, and the lady said, No, thats not necessary. So they were very happy to do it for me, and big shout-out. Its family-owned, great place.

The owners are so helpful and absolutely delightful to work with-- and they were great when I asked them to be "in" on a sneaky surprise when I came shopping with my husband! The store isnt so large that its overwhelming, which we love-- but they have a great assortment of options even with the smaller footprint. And they are wonderful about repairing jewelry quickly. This jewelry store is a neighborhood gem!
