1 /5 Denae: My husband bought & designed my wedding ring from Derr Jewelry. Within 5 years, two diamonds have fallen out. The first one fell out last year and my husband paid for a new diamond to be mounted back in. Come to find out a jeweler who looked at my ring yesterday said Jeff just soldered the metal prong to a really high heat and didnt use any perious metals to fix it properly and guess what? The same prong broke again and another diamond is now lost. And to fix my ring it has to be totally remounted $ I was also informed the white gold is very porus in my ring like he used subpar metal on the ring to begin with. We are not rich and my husband paid good money twice over for my ring. Also the surrounding stones are lose/one chipped sapphire. Derr never returned my husbands call about this. We wont ever go back.

1 /5 Amy: To say I had a horrible experience here is truly an understatement. Derr Jewelry provided the WORST experience out of any product or service I have ever received. I would recommend any jeweler other than him. My partner & I chose Derr to make a custom marquise-cut diamond engagement ring. From the very beginning his customer service sucked. The kicker is that he BROKE the 1.5 carat marquise diamond that was set in my ring. And he had the audacity to accuse me of breaking it! It was confirmed by a GIA-certified gemologist that he broke the stone when he set it, and he knew it, because a diamond makes a loud sound when it breaks. He lied about it and refused to give us our money back. We lost well over $6000 because of this sketchy jeweler. Plus, he made shopping for an engagement ring, something that should be a lovely experience, an awful one. Derr Jewelrys service is deplorable, borderline criminal, and his workmanship is abysmal. DO NOT go here for any reason.

1 /5 Bruce Solly: Do NOT leave your jewelry with Derr to be repaired. After 5 weeks we started calling. He does not answer his phone. We left 4 messages. He does not respond to his messages. We went in person to retrieve our jewelry and he had not even touched the pieces and proceeding to lie to us about his lack of communication and professionalism. This after being a good customer for 15 years.

We hadn’t purchased rings yet, so we spontaneously decided just to look around. It ended up turning into an experience that we will never forget. Jeffrey designed the two most beautiful rings, and shipped them across the country to us seamlessly. I highly recommend Derr Jewelry. Absolutely exceptional in every way. We will be back.
