Upstate Agency - South Glens Falls (NY)

1 /5 David DeDeo: I called this past week to get some info. I don’t remember who the lady was I spoke to on the phone. She informed me that since I declined to have my auto ins with them back 6 months ago they would not give me a price for business liability. I said to go ahead and quote me for auto ins as well. She said they were declining and if a quote and money were my only concern that they didn’t want to quote it. Keep in mind she was the lady who answered the phone as well as made this decision. She never put me on hold to talk to anyone else. I find it odd that a secretary answering the phone makes these decisions. This person clearly knows nothing about owning a business. Of course the price is the leading contributor in any business decision. She had a major attitude. I wouldn’t recommend this ins agency to anybody. They clearly are only concerned with themselves and nothing about the customer.

1 /5 Douglas Kelly: A previous Review of mine on Upstate was taken down, perhaps because i mistakenly assigned Nancy as "Cynthia"? When Progressive, by choice, opts in initiating a policy to Upstate, when Upstate demands much-higher limits than the new customer desires, does it not appear to be corporate humor in .. discriminating? Im sure Upstate will "petition" this 2nd Review be taken down, too, while reminding Google about the incredible monies "they" donated during covid, while Progressive reps on the phone expressed surprise Upstate had claimed that .. when Upstate did so @ Progressives behest, in initiation. Upstate would buy me "a" cup of coffee .. after skimming my wallet for 18 months or more? Nice, in an .. odd .. way.
