1 /5 Nicolette Christine: During their closing retirement sale, I experienced a below poorly experience by a woman employee with short hair and brown glasses. I was making a purchase of a gold diamond estate ring, waited there without any acknowledgment until I finally asked the woman if she can show me something in the case. I made my mind up within a few minutes upon making the purchase. She didn’t take me seriously; Im not sure if it’s because I’m a young woman, and she passed judgement, but I noticed her speaking and accommodating to other customers in the store. She had poor manners and acted like she didn’t want to be bothered by me with responses like “mhmm” and no eye contact. She is the example of treating people not only unprofessionally, but unequally. When she brought me back my receipt and credit card, I was looking at other items and she states, “Yoohoo” to capture my attention. I left there upset. My experience is unfortunate and I will never understand how people can be so rude especially after they just made a sale.
