Dave and this establishment are pillars of Joliet’s community. Without his store front on Jefferson Street? I swear to God, I would think the world is ending. The quality of his jewelry knows no end! I have seen rare volcanic diamonds that could only be obtained by crossing the world over. Dave Nelson is one of those people that you rarely, if ever, come across in a lifetime. If you have jewelry that you need him to validate? He is always the first one to be generous enough to do it, even if there’s nothing to validate in an endless pile. No one else does this, trust me, I have tried. When my mother passed from breast cancer? I had so much questionable jewelry and there was no one or where to go that would check it all, except Dave. He was there for me, professionally, and always has been. Dave is exceptionally generous. His son is also one of my very best friends. If I could cover all of the times that Dave was there for me as child? I would. How many times he put dinner on the table for me while I had none? How many times he stuck up for me to bullies? How many times he had pig roasts and invited the entire community? I could go on, forever. This place? These people? They defy quality and kindness. They show you the very definition of ‘Class’. Paul J Przepiorka Got a few sweaters and other tops for spring and fall. They are pretty awesome, as the store is always nicely lit, clean and well organized. The rep tried to offer me a credit card, but the interest rates are way too high. Good way to try to entice people to become loyal repeat customers though and build credit if your bank turns you down. Would be nice if they had more US made clothes, but I understand, they dont make them, they just sell them. Anyway, great customer service, with plenty of people working there in case you need help finding anything.

Sandy Carver Very friendly family owned jewelry store. They have something for anyones budget. Great store to have in our little town. Update - I always felt good about taking my jewelry here. But since the owner retired and his son took over. This place is an absolute joke. I took my wedding ring in to have an upgraded stone put in back in March. This was a gift from my husband to upgrade my ring. After multiple calls and our anniversary come up in August, it still wasnt ready (really 5 months later). So I went in demanding to see my ring. Was starting to feel like I was getting the run around. They did have it, but still not ready. I said I wanted it by August 28 (our anniversary). Assured me it would be ready. So the day came and went in, he said sorry blah blah I can have it for next week. I lost it! Next week my anniversary will be over. Its today, and youve had my ring 6 months. I stormed out. An hour later, he called me to say hed deliver it to me in an hour. 2 hours pass, and here he was. He did his best to hide my ring but charged me nothing. Rightfully so. Side diamonds were missing shotty soldering. I was devastated. Only plus my husband bought me a new ring since the original, which I loved so much, is now ruined. Will never be back.

ᗰคгรєlค ᗰ. My wedding ring was cracked on the inside of my hand and eventually a whole piece broke off. Id never been to Udry before but have driven past it alot, they are affordable and their customer service was top notch. It only took about 2 weeks to get my ring back and they even cleaned it too so it actually look like a brand new ring! Will be returning here for future jewelry needs!
