1 /5 Esther Smith: Me & my husband switched to State Farm with the intention of saving on our entire insurance policy & having equivalent coverage on our property & vehicles in July 2024. We were promised by the original employee who did our policy that all of our coverages were equivalent to what we originally had before switching & we were saving on our bill. We switched our property, vehicles & added an additional policy.
We started cancellation notices in the mail in October with zero contact from State Farm & when I contacted the office myself, the manager, Kim, stated she was not in a rush to contact me because we had a couple weeks until cancellation. The original employee did our policy wrong & we were given zero contact other than receiving cancellation notices.
Once Kim “fixed” our policies that were done incorrectly & we lost a discount we were promised, which caused us to be paying $50 more on our vehicles than we were before we originally switched. Then our policies were written incorrectly again. Multiple coverages on our property were significantly lower than we requested, discussed & were promised. Also received additional coverage on our policies I had stated not to have. Kim made multiple promises to contact me back regarding our policies when I would make contact with concern & she was never in office when I would follow up. We made the decision to switch our insurance after this great stress, due to our policies still not being correctly written 6 months later in December 2024.
Kim also promised that our updated policy information would be mailed multiple times. With one policy being in her office printed already. Once we cancelled our policies, I received one of three policies in the mail a month later. A month later after Kim claimed the one policy was in her office & she would mail it out. The envelope was not sealed & it contained all of my personal information on the documentation. Including my social security number. Wide open for anyone to access.
On top of being pregnant during this entire pregnant during this entire process, it has caused me great stress & my experience was absolutely horrible with this office. I was lied to multiple times by the manager, Kim & her communication is horrible. Absolutely careless & incompetent. I do not recommend anyone to be insured by State Farm of Kelsi Lubovich.
