1 /5 Emily Miller: I dont recommend shopping at Daniels for anything expensive or if you are shopping for something that will hold sentiment like an engagement ring, wedding band. I shopped here for my engagement ring and was told to get the insurance as it was worth the additional price because it would protect my ring from loss, theft, and damage along with free cleanings. Well worth it for something so important. I was guaranteed the ring would be protected. So naturally I went back to get my fiances ring here, at the same exact location. We were given the same exact speech. And once again felt it was worth it for something so important. So we purchased the insurance for protection and free cleanings. When the ring was lost we went back to the store. The same women who sold it to him brushed him off and told him he was not insured. He went back to the store with proof that we purchased the insurance and she was once again very rude and told him it was on him. When he demanded to speak to a manager she changed her tone and told him he had to file a police report before anything could be done then she would give him a form. So he left. Filed the report and once the report was submitted as approved and filed he went back to the store, to once again be treated poorly and given a form to file a claim. He filled out the claim and we waited nearly a week to hear back. When they got back to us it was a short letter saying tough luck bud! Apparently if my fiance was in a hailstorm or struck by lightening or had the ring forcibly removed from his body or home he would be covered. But everything else was not covered. Not only do I not appreciate the lack of customer service on the stores part, but giving out false information to make a sell and then saying not our problem?? I will never shop here again and make sure my friends and family know it is not worth their money or time. Lesson learned.
