Donna Hall One of my favorite shops in Oakland! I live in the Piedmont Avenue neighborhood and pop into Philippa Roberts fairly often just to admire all the lovely things inside and always find many things to put on my wish list. :) Recently, I needed to purchase 2 birthday gifts and headed straight to Philippa Roberts. Dont4get2smile What a RARE find in the Ontario Mills Mall! A small, beautiful booth...owned by a super sweet and talented BLACK woman jeweler selling wonderful art. I was on my way to Oakleys near by to buy my husband some shades when I noticed the boutique store. I ended up buying a wonderful container to hold my husbands “cooking herbs” that has a nice wooden stopper and a wonderous colorful Geode right on top! It was very affordable; I wish I had an opportunity to buy more! Happy to help support a fellow African American’s Small Business in a sea on NOT African American Owned businesses in that HUGE mall. Next time you are in the area stop by and show some LOVE!!! :)
