When I received my engagement ring, I was shocked at how well made this custom ring was. I have friends who have had issues with prongs losing diamonds, diamonds not being set properly etc but I’m happy to share that I haven’t had an issue in the 1.5 years I’ve had it! I’ve worn the ring in the ocean, to the gym, etc and it has held up really really well. I highly recommend David’s work!

Carats & Stones offered the elegance of high end retail without the brand markup, the uniqueness of a boutique, and the customization of endless options; they could access any stone I could find online -- and then some! -- for us to *actually see in person* before purchasing. We did a yellow diamond, which was a bit more challenging. Linda and her team were patient, knowledgeable, meticulous, discerning, and budget conscious. I wanted to be very hands on during the process, and they not only embraced that, but guided and educated me along the way.
