1 /5 G Pai: Like all insurance, it is just a check you write until you need it. Ken/Allstate was happy enough to cash the checks, but when we had an issue with our home, he did not return emails or calls. We eventually found the answer ourselves after wading through pages of policy documentation.
When calling to cancel our insurance at a much later date due to the incredibly uncompetitive quote for auto insurance, Ken told us "oh, youve got a Cadillac insurance policy. Youve been paying for more insurance than you need." and proceeded to quote a similar policy for much less. Great, thanks a lot. Weve been over-paying for multiple years. Not exactly the best customer care where you get the appropriate pricing only when threatening to cancel.
