Burton Jewelers - Anacortes (WA)

1 /5 Kirk Wiper: After our amazing jewelers (Strauss) retired, we found Burtons based on a recommendation by family. We took a wedding ring in that required some minor work and was told by the owner, Phil, that it would take two weeks. More than three weeks later, I called and Phil told me it was still out but that he would call me back. He did not. I called again and left a voice mail. After receiving no return call by end of business the following day, I called again and was told that someone would call me back by end of business that day. At almost 6, (the business closes at 5), I called again and was told they just hadnt had a chance to call me but that the ring should return the following day- nearly four weeks in total. A simple call back with an explanation would have cleared this all up but that clearly wasnt part of the service. After finally picking it up- still no explaination- we ran next door to a neighboring jeweler who, after inspecting it, assured us that it still had the original stones and that the ring had, in fact, been repaired. We wont use Burtons again- not a huge loss to them, Im sure, but a completely unnecessary one.

I was worried that they might not be able to have it done before we left Anacortes but they assured me it would be. I decided to get another ring sized as well. I received a call about a week later telling me that they were ready for pickup. The rings fit perfectly. Thank you, Burton Jewelers.

5 /5 J. Melendez: My Luminox watch was fogging up after I had a battery change, took it to my local jewelry store to have them check it out. To my surprise they checked it and water tested it at no charge!!! Super nice staff! Thank you guys!
