Robbins Brothers Fine Jewelers - Webster

Ryan The ethics and honesty of how our upgrade was handled was extraordinary. We were given the option of going with lab grown vs natural. Instead of taking a larger commission by keeping us in the dark about the details we were able to get a larger diamond that was $10K cheaper AND keep the original. I highly recommend anyone to come here for peace of mind to know you’re getting the best deal, and fantastic quality.

Gold Silver Boutique - Baytown

Lindsey Ormsbee I regularly buy gold, silver, and coins here. They are always very accommodating and very fair with their prices. I enjoy spending my money here, but I would recommend calling beforehand to ensure they are open.

Markham Fine Jewelers - Frisco

Alex P My wife and I recently visited Markham Fine Jewelers for our 10th anniversary to have her wedding band and ring resized. We had the pleasure of working with Robert, and we were so impressed by his professionalism, knowledge, and care throughout the entire process. Robert not only helped us with resizing, but also showed us a selection of beautiful rings with incredible value and pricing within our budget. We ended up upgrading to a stunning 3-carat diamond ring with an impressive crown setting surrounded by smaller diamonds—it is absolutely breathtaking. He was also able to resize my wife’s original band, which she hadn’t been able to wear since we had kids. On top of that, Robert went the extra mile by creating a gorgeous pendant from the diamonds in her previous ring as a special gift for her upcoming birthday. Robert’s attention to detail, patience, and genuine care made this such a memorable and special experience. We highly recommend Markham Fine Jewelers to anyone looking for wedding rings, anniversary upgrades, or custom pieces. Thank you, Robert, for making our 10th anniversary so meaningful!

Forever Dazzled Permanent Jewelry - Cedar Park

Megan Lee Lillie Nichole was kind, patient, and personable. After mentioning my struggle with anklets falling off in the past, she explained everything about permanent jewelry, from pricing to the differences in chains, metal types, and the charms I could add, etc. She has so many options to choose from! She helped me decide on the perfect anklet and let me walk around with it to size it correctly. I love my anklet so much. Her studio is also super cute. Thanks Nichole!

M&R Jewelers - McAllen

Paul Lanzillotti I almost never leave public reviews, but in this case its warranted. M&R had a highly sought after wristwatch in stock that I could not find anywhere for months. I ordered it online from their website, they sent it out the very next day (Im halfway across the country) with a tracking number. It just arrived and the watch is exactly as described. It came with all the trimmings as well - even a nice velvet gift bag. On that note, this is really going to make a great gift that didnt break the bank. In fact, I cant believe the deal I got. Paid retail price when everywhere else is selling it for more. Im definitely going to buy again at some point. If Im ever in the great state of Texas, Ill try and stop on by to say thanks in person.

Macroplaza Mall - Pasadena

Dashiell Allen-Smith This place is… something. First of all, I visited late May of 2022, on a Saturday. Anyway, if you want to go shopping, I do not think that this will be your place. Macy’s closed in 2017, Palais Royal closed in 2020 alongside Sears, and Dillards closed in 2006. I should also add that the food court has been vacant for years. Heck, the Claire’s, the one really decent-looking store, closed a while before I arrived, not to mention that a third of the mall (the playground and the empty hallways towards Macy’s) have been closed since the pandemic. However, despite ALL of these flaws, I thoroughly enjoyed it. The styling, though slightly refurbished roughly 5 or so years ago, still looks similar to how it did when it opened in 1982. The Palais Royal still has it’s logo in place, but so does the Sears. So if you enjoy dated architectural design, I would highly recommend. EDIT: I went back during Thanksgiving week, and the place is not doing too hot. The only name brand store, which I believe was a FootAction, has closed since I last went last May. Just a fare warning, the area is not the safest (certainly no Greenspoint or Sharpstown, but still enough that you should be more careful), and that the old Macy’s may have a homeless person or two. Don’t worry, as the mall itself should be fine, since the only people there are getting exercise. Only go after dark if you know what you are doing. In conclusion, if you want to go, do so sooner rather than later since I doubt the longevity of this mall. EDIT 2: I added more photos from Thanksgiving Week 2022, this time from my camera, as I forgot to put the photos of it on here. The new photos do not reflect the current state of the mall, again as they are from a couple of months ago.
