Jared Guynes Listen, I thought I was just walking into a little gem and mineral shop to kill time while my wife tried on clothes down the street. What actually happened was I crossed the threshold into House of Gems and was immediately spiritually cleansed by the positive energy radiating from a 30-pound amethyst cathedral that might be sentient. This place is like if a science museum and a wizard’s treasure trove had a baby and that baby grew up to sell ethically sourced crystals, dino fossils, and meteorites with personality. I left with a huge amethyst! If you’re in downtown McKinney and don’t stop by House of Gems, you’re robbing your soul of some truly sparkly healing. Great gift shop!

Katy Kowalik Caleesi designs was by far the smoothest process for custom jewelry I have had the pleasure working with. Elizabeth was extremely attentive and patient through all of my questions. I had my wedding set rings made and brought my own center stone, the studio easily sourced the smaller stones for me as they are unique shaped. Ora Hola This review is for the disappointing commercial I just saw about Denny Bales advocating for adopting a dog simply because they would make a good guard dog. Dogs should be family and a systemic problem is this town is that people view dogs and cats as possessions like furniture or kitchen appliances: Theyre only good when serving a purpose and disposable when they get too old or break down. Shame on you Denny Bales.
