Although jewelry he creates is beautiful, I’d almost say that his repair work and ability to blend the repair in with even the most intricate and detailed areas of a piece, is beyond what I ever thought I’d get for the amount he charged me. I’ve both purchased new/ special order jewelry here and had a defect in a 100+ year old antique engagement ring repaired here and both times I was impressed with the customer service of his staff, floored by the level of craftsmanship and artistry Ty puts into his pieces, and also just appreciative of how reasonable his prices are. I needed my engagement ring from a small jeweler in Illinois, now closed, downsized. Its such a meaningful item I knew I didnt want to trust it with just anyone. Enter Tanco Creations. As soon as I walked in the door I felt so welcome. The associate I worked with, Trenea, listened to me gab and was patient, kind, and professional. She has a very calming and engaging presence. After we got the ring adjustments worked out, I told her that I was going to look at the wedding bands and she showed me where they were. Get this, I found my wedding band immediately! At no point during my time in the store did I feel pressured to make purchases. The quality of the pieces there are outstanding and the prices are reasonable. The staff? Chefs kiss perfect. Ive had an idea for custom pieces I want made, and I believe with Tanco Creations in my life, I can finally make them happen.
