5 /5 Jasmine Bayliss: After I recommended this jewelry store on a local mom’s group, I realized I never left a review for the store here. I highly recommend Kim Ngoc for onsite jewelry repairs. They have repaired gold earrings and rings for me. The store admittedly looks sketchy from the outside with the bars on the windows, and you have to wait to be buzzed in. However, this Vietnamese jeweler has been here since the early ‘80s. Gold jewelry is sold by grams based on market price, and I’ve found the price to be good. Most of the negative reviews I’ve seen have been related to customer service. I think most of the brusqueness is the language barrier. My Vietnamese is basic so I just wait to speak English with the daughter, Thao, who is delightful. They fixed my jewelry onsite while I shopped (about 45 minutes). Before my ring was taken back, Thao verified the stone’s authenticity and she verified it again before she gave it back to me. I’ve been pleased with the repairs.

1 /5 Christina Meas: If 0 stars was an option I would put it. Do not go here if you want to be treated like a respected customer. They talk to you sparingly and with disrespect, trying to get you out of the store as quickly as possible. Their attitude is not suited for customer service nor professionalism. They raise their voice and talk over you when asked a question. It’s not a language barrier issue, it’s an issue of character and disrespect. When telling us the price of jewelry, they kept changing the price, having it get higher and higher. When we said something about it they gave us a measly $10 discount. Go somewhere else even if you have to search for a while.

1 /5 CA: If I could give zero stars I would. I came into the store a few weeks ago and I was treated as if I was a burden to the woman at the store. The woman I dealt with was extremely rude. She only let me try out some ugly jewelry for $1,900. I wanted to try out the jewelry I liked and she said no. It was as if she thought I could not afford what they were selling (their jewelry was ugly and cheap looking to say the least). I had to leave due to the lack of customer service and the racial discrimination I encountered. Do not go to this store if you can help it. They are extremely rude and racist! If they don’t want my money, there are plenty of other people who I can give my hard earned money to.
