We needed the rings back before our engagement photos (less than 2 weeks from when we dropped off the rings), and they were done and ready for pickup in about a week. Sherry Gaible James Avery never has a sale but they did offer a good deal on their charms. So, I gathered the three adopted granddaughters and had a shopping spree this hot afternoon. I have been coming up empty for their birthday and Christmas gifts the past year or so. Starting a charm bracelet or add on necklace is a great way for them to design their own gift. This JA store seems brand new, but the very personable and helpful store manager, Karen, said the store is actually five years old. Could have fooled me. We had Karen and her assistant Morgan"s full attention for a good part of the afternoon. The brilliantly lit glass cases, with sample charms, were so enticing, but the girls (11, 9 and 7) made wonderful decisions on their own. I hope this is a tradition that we can keep for years to come.
