JCPenney - New Braunfels (TX)

1 /5 Sydney Stewart: I was in JCPenney today around 4-5pm, I was sitting in the waiting area in a more comfortable chair before the dressing room nursing my 7 month old, when a woman maybe in her late 50s, or early 60s who worked there approached me and asked if I wanted to go nurse my baby in a dressing room that has a bench. I told her I am much more comfortable in this chair, no thanks. Kindly. She then went into the dressing room, came back out and said I made a room for you to go into and to nurse. I said I am good. She then said “they” as in the other JCPenney workers would rather me nurse in the dressing room because kids could walk by. I told her OK and stayed put. She then took a clothing rack and pushed it right beside me blocking me from the entrance of the waiting room. It was very uncalled for. I stayed calm and polite. JC penny- woman are legally allowed to breastfeed in public. I did not just have my boob out. I had my baby over me, and was behind a wall in the waiting room before the dressing room. No one else was around but my 10 year old daughter who witnessed this. I’m very disappointed in this woman. Leave breastfeeding woman ALONE.

5 /5 Nylah Barratt: Brenda was amazing! She took great newborn pictures of my son and even recreated a specific picture I requested beautifully. She was gentle and very sweet! We will definitely be coming back to her for more pictures in the future.

1 /5 Ian Huth: Most poorly ran JC Penney Ive ever been to. First off their was a display with five different types of shirts from the same designer and it says 21.99 so I grab three and a t shirt that was 14 and the cashier says your total is 135 in like no it should be like at most 78 dollars. So I go back to take a picture of display and show her she then proceeds to tell me thats not the right sign for the item she says theirs a different sign so I walk back with her to show her thats not the case and she then proceeds to move the display items to a different area like 8-12 shirts and I say Ill wait for a manager waited five minutes and I just decide to leave talk about poorly ran store and Ive been to dozens of JCPenneys never had a problem. This store doesnt seem to care about anything sloppy signage display items on the floor trash in the dressing rooms everything. Go to a different JCPENNEYS

1 /5 Christopher Myers: Do not book photos at this location. They over book timings and understaff. We waited 30 mins past our appointment and the photographer was still not ready. Both photo studio manager and JCPenney store manager say its not their problem because the space is leased to a third party. Both were rude and apathetic. With employees like this its no wonderJCpenny is holding on by a thread.

1 /5 Leslie Albertson: Absolutely the worst customer service, including the managers. They are rude and unprofessional. They will do anything not to assist a customer, or they are just incompetent not sure which. I would drive to North Star Mall or San Marcos before entering Creekside. Revision: looking at other reviews I see others had similar issues. I will be sending a formal letter of complaint. When a cashier is rude to a customer in front of a manager who then says to the customer while you do have an attitude, long story but this was over 2 visits for which they screwed up an order and somehow canceled it when they were just asked to check on the status of it!
