5 /5 Schery Nielson: The work was beautiful but I was promised in 2 weeks it took over 2 weeks and when I went to pick up my repairs I was thinking around $200 and it was over $700! If I had known it was going to be that much I would have never had the repairs done. And the one ring that was to be sized is still to big. I won’t go back. Update! I got a call from Jenna very sweet lady. She went over all my concerns there were a few miscommunications and we got everything worked out. Thanks again Jenna! Update: Refund was in my bank and now it’s gone today. What happened??

5 /5 Megan Alvey: Final update (see last paragraph for original posting): Just picked this ring back up along with its matching wedding band! As per their recommendation I brought the set in the be welded! Turned out lovely and I’m so happy! The staff was so sweet and had some more interesting stories to tell! You don’t find the kind of sincerity they offer very often anymore these days and it’s always a treat going in. So glad my now husband found and chose them for our rings! We’ll d efinitely be returning for future projects! Added new pictures of the final set!!! Original/First Visit: Visited today with my fiancée to pick out an engagement ring and wedding band. We went in not knowing anything about the in and outs of picking a diamond/band, however, when we left we were much more comfortable with the knowledge they provided us. Jenna was wonderful and very educational. She went above and beyond to help us choose the best fit for us within our budget. Her husband was also helped add the cherry on top with the perfect setting arrangement! The process for the mens band was a lot shorter but still educational! Can’t wait for the rings to come in after their sizing. Updating my review to include the photos! I was surprised that it was ready so quickly.

5 /5 Bret Martin: I can’t say enough wonderful things about Gold N’ Carats. Years ago they made my Mom’s wedding ring, then they made wedding rings for my wife and I. Recently, I lost my best friend. I received some of his ashes and a lock of his Dad’s hair from his family because he and I were so close for over 20 years. I designed a ring (see pic below) to hold some of his ashes and a few strands of his Dad’s hair. Jenna was so wonderful, and she worked with me not only to bring my design to life, but to make sure that the Texas pendant was small enough to be aesthetically pleasing, but also big enough to hold the hair and ashes. My friend would be proud, and I am so grateful to Jenna, Lucinda, and Jim for making this happen in his honor. For future customers: you can trust that family jewelry, heirlooms, and special projects will be treated respectfully, and family diamonds will not be switched with other diamonds “of equal value” as is so common with many jewelers (if you Gold N Carats a family Diamond, you will get that family Diamond back!). Highly recommended, they will have my loyalty as a customer forever!

5 /5 Connie Kilday: My husband gave me a black pearl engagement ring with a sweet story about how at the age of eight or nine, he acquired the pearl on an outing to the Japanese Cultural Gardens in San Francisco. His grandmother had the pearl set in a white gold setting and gave it to his mom for safe keeping until he was ready to propose. After several years of wear, the pearl began to shed its outer layer. I took my mothers wedding set, a beautiful sapphire and diamond ring from my husband, and a new black pearl we got a few years ago at a pearl store when opening an oyster to Lucinda at Gold n Carats and asked if they could make me a new ring using the diamonds and pearl. The result was stunning and more than I could have hoped for! They knew my style and my love for unusual coupled with traditional. 5 /5 Joshua Sullivan: They are very friendly and made sure the rings my wife and I wanted were perfect to us. We first came here for an engagement ring, and they walked us through every detail without using confusing words or deceptive contracts. They were patient with our pickiness and still went above and beyond our expectations. We picked out our own diamonds and viewed them through a loop so we knew how to identify them. They personally kept me up to date with pictures through the whole process of welding the additional crowns, setting the extra diamonds, and when it would be available for pick up. As the time approached, we made a no-brainer to come back for the wedding rings. The process was just as smooth and even through COVID, they sent us updates on the rings to make sure we still received them with plenty of time before our wedding. Their policies make resizing and polishing so easy and they bent over backwards for us. I cant thank them enough for everything theyve done for us.
