1 /5 Bonnie B: If I could give no star, I would. When I approached my advisor Laura Abbot in early March 2022 about why she had me in certain funds that had been in a deep decline for previous past 3 months she really had no explanation. Then I pressed her to explain why I am paying management fees given her apparent lack of management oversight AND why I was management fees on the cash (which was most of my account) and not just the investments I had with Trustmont. She scuttled around with that explanation as well. After considerable pushing on my end, she escalated my complaint in regards to the management fees. And then she told me to NOT call her back once I wanted to invest again. LOL! To get the management fees actually reversed, and to understand why Laura had not actually "managed" my money around those handful of dog accounts, I was then referred to Marylynne Hixenbaugh, Chief Compliance Officer. After being roped around for the past few months, I was just told today, 6/24/22, that Laura "did nothing wrong" and that I received the benefit of her "management" -- over a $60,000 loss in just a few months -- thats quite a benefit for sure. Additionally, I requested the statements when I was being "managed" by Laura on the “Institutional” side of TD, Marylynne advised me to simply login in — shocking to me that someone at her level doesn’t know that access is cut off once you move into “Retail" of TD as I was told by TD when I called the 800-number. Marylynne refuses to provide a specific answer to why Laura kept me in those funds through 1St QTR, event though Laura admitted via email that she had moved other clients out in January. Do not trust these people with your money. They will show no respect for you, and they dont care about you. But Marylynne did wish me a good weekend!
