1 /5 Eljay LeVeille: Absolutely the worst experience Ive ever had with any business in the Albany County area. I brought in a piece back in May, and it took them almost two weeks just to provide a quote. Once I finally got the price and agreed to it, I was told it would be handled—this was on April 2nd. From that point on: silence. I had to call over three months later, on July 11th, just to get an update. I was told it would be another 9–12 days, along with a bunch of excuses. Now its July 31st—three weeks later—and they haven’t even started. They just ordered the stone. This delay caused me to miss four major family events, including my fathers 84th birthday (he originally owned the piece), and even my 25th wedding anniversary. The owner made excuse after excuse: overbooked, too busy, only doing easy jobs. And strangely, my wife’s project—much simpler—was done and returned while mine sat untouched. When I expressed frustration, the owner was rude and dismissive—made it seem like it was my fault. Based on how I was treated, it’s no surprise he’s short on staff. The overall vibe was unprofessional and unpleasant. Do not waste your time. The only positive thing I can say is that the lady at the front desk was kind and polite.

5 /5 Jo Suss: John is so skilled and an artisan specialized gemologist and jeweler. He designs jewelery , does evaluations, and estimates as well as stupendous repairs. Hes been put jewelry for at least 2 decades. He and his team have always been very professional and personable. Shout out to Sandy! Thank you for being there. Great hours and they are very reliable.

1 /5 Tyler Provenza: I went here after being highly referred by multiple people, it’s unfortunate to say that I didn’t get what I had asked for. I brought my own diamond in to get set for an engagement ring, I provided photos of exactly how I would’ve liked it to look. I had asked for European style prongs (pointed ends) and was given rounded ends, I asked for a 1.5mm thick band and was given a 2.9mm thick band, it would’ve been one thing to tell me my expectations couldn’t be met but there was no communication from the time I dropped it off until the time I picked it up. I would’ve gone back to express my concerns but I had such a bad taste in my mouth especially after being told he couldve gotten me the diamond I had purchased for far less when 2 weeks prior I was quoted almost twice what I ended up paying. Needless to say the diamond is being taken out of the band I received here and is being set into a new band that meets my expectation. First photo was what I presented as my desired finish but in all yellow gold (minus the halo) and second photo was what I received.

5 /5 Elaine Richter: Over the past several years, I’ve brought various pieces of jewelry to be repaired and am more than pleased with the results. Not only did John make the repairs but he took the time to clean the pieces that they looked better than brand new.
