Donna Young This is the only local jeweler in the Kenmore area. Hofert and Craig’s are now long gone so I wanted to continue to support local. I don’t have a long wait. I brought in jewelry to have an estimate on its worth. I was able to sell my jewelry at cost and it was easy and quick. I found everything to be efficient and friendly.

After being told by another jeweler that my necklace was just scrap metal and they attempted to purchase it from me, I decided to give Scherers a call. From the very first conversation, the staff was warm and welcoming. I explained what had happened, and the woman on the phone assured me that she thought it could be fixed. Maui and his staff took the time to explain to my Son the types of diamonds and look a like diamonds and the pros and cons of each. The staff were very patient with a young man looking to take a big step in his life. They didnt try to push him just to make a sale. Maui is very patient and kind with all of his customers. My Son said it was a very comforting experience compared to other shops . He was very impressed with the knowledge and patients of Maui and his staff. She looked at every piece and handled them with great care. Donna took her time and in the end, I was very surprised and happy with the results.
