1 /5 Monica Hampton: The agent assigned to my claim was awful! (A woman hit my parked car... her insurance not mine). She would not respond to text, email or phone messages. I had to call the main line twice and request to speak to whoever would answer their phone. Fortunately, they were helpful but this had been drawn out for two extra weeks due to her incompetence. I hope I dont have to deal with this company again!

1 /5 Ryan Gainuss: Do not trust Pekin as your insurance provider. This company will not provide you any support when you need them most. After nearly 20 years of being a Pekin customer, with zero property or auto claims, I had to call on them to support us through a tornado that struck our home nearly 18 months ago. We have attempted to find local contractors that will complete repairs according to Pekin’s scope of work but none are willing due to the extensive structural damage. Even after hiring a structural engineer to detail the damages Pekin is unwilling to compromise and do the right thing. Adam Moyers at Pekin made an agreement to pay us support to live on our property in a camper we purchased. In December 2022 he broke that agreement and payments stopped. Currently my wife and are living in a utility shed on the property. Do not put faith in this company to be there when you need them, you’ll be highly disappointed.

1 /5 Shelby McLaughlin: Canceled my insurance through them last week because they jacked their rates up so much and now they have been charging me everyday for the past 2 days. Had to call my bank and lock it because theyre are quite literally stealing money from me even though I dont have anything through them as of last week. I tried calling however no one answers the phone nor do they call you back. Had to go to the better business bureau.

1 /5 Jade Evangeline: Ive been going through Pekin insurance for years now and thought my low-price full coverage was great, until I actually had to use it. I was in an accident and my car was totaled. Everyone involved knew it was totaled the moment it happened. It took these professionals three weeks to decide it was totaled. Its been a month now and I still have no vehicle and no insurance money. Needless to say Ill definitely be switching because this has caused a huge rut in my life. Edit 9/3 Its been over a month and I still havent received the funds from my claim. I had to go through my bank and purchase a new vehicle on my own because my other loan wasnt paid off by the insurance company but they still took my totaled car. Im considering taking a different course of action due to the unprofessional and inattentive employees at this company.

1 /5 Sarah Smith: Adjusters will not answer you and will not return your calls. You’re only able to speak to the one adjuster they assign to you regarding anything to do with your claim, and they do not do their job. I heavily advise you to look into a different insurance company. Thank you Heather Tate for not doing your job! Real big help!
