1 /5 Peg Haerr: BEWARE!! I was away from my home city, so I took my watch here because the battery needed to be changed. The lady there changed it, and it ran for about 5 minutes. I took it back, and the man opened it up, tweaked something and muttered, "Its ok now. Itll be fine."...and proceeded to "dismiss me. It ran for about an hour that time. Today I took my watch to a certified watch repairman....not sure what that couple at Gold Star Jewelers did to my watch, but its probably going to cost $85 to fix....Dont take anything you really care about to these people. Their English is poor, and several signs in their showcase are misspelled, also...

5 /5 Heather Holbert: I have had my watch repaired at this location along with many people I know. I left a battery in my watch for 2 years after it died. I had no idea the battery could corrode and coat the inner workings of a watch. Bobby was able to take it apart, clean it out, and I was thankful to get my watch working again. The watch was from my sister so it is special to me. The owners are WONDERFUL people. I work very close to this kiosk in the mall (at a jewelry store no less...so Bobby is a competitor but we just dont do all battery replacements) and send on average 3 people a day down to Bobby. He has been in business for more than 20 years. When I send people there I always say "Bobby is an expert and they will take really good care of you." These people consistently come back to me and say "Youre right! They did a great job!" I read another review on here where a person said she had a bad experience. It is very hard for me to accept her experience because it is so far from the norm. Regarding her saying she could barely understand their speaking...they speak perfect English. Yes, they have an accent, but saying they are hard to understand is bizarre because I speak to them daily and never have a problem. Makes you wonder other peoples motives when they mention how a person has an accent. Please take that into consideration when you read other reviews. Bottom line is that the couple who owns this business are exceptional people who are kind, hard working, and experts at what they do. I highly recommend them.

5 /5 Kyryth Kessler: I took a wedding ring set with a diamond and asked Bobby to place the diamond in the engagement ring and then soulder the wedding ring and engagement ring together. He did a BEAUTIFUL, MAGNIFICENT job. I cannot stop looking at the ring set and everyone admires it. Thank you, Bobby! I highly recommend this jeweler to everyone!!!!!!
