Dave and this establishment are pillars of Joliet’s community. Without his store front on Jefferson Street? I swear to God, I would think the world is ending. The quality of his jewelry knows no end! I have seen rare volcanic diamonds that could only be obtained by crossing the world over. Dave Nelson is one of those people that you rarely, if ever, come across in a lifetime. If you have jewelry that you need him to validate? He is always the first one to be generous enough to do it, even if there’s nothing to validate in an endless pile. No one else does this, trust me, I have tried. When my mother passed from breast cancer? I had so much questionable jewelry and there was no one or where to go that would check it all, except Dave. He was there for me, professionally, and always has been. Dave is exceptionally generous. His son is also one of my very best friends. If I could cover all of the times that Dave was there for me as child? I would. How many times he put dinner on the table for me while I had none? How many times he stuck up for me to bullies? How many times he had pig roasts and invited the entire community? I could go on, forever. This place? These people? They defy quality and kindness. They show you the very definition of ‘Class’. Molly Logan I walked into the store randomly needing to get a wedding band for my upcoming wedding. The sales people were very attentive and listened to what I wanted and didn’t try to push something more on me. They showed me different options and were able to give me the exact band that I wanted within 30 minutes. I have bigger fingers so needed a size than they had in the store but went to their sister store upstairs and got what I needed. A fair price and great service. There were several other people in there bringing jewelry to be fixed or customized so even as an out of town person I can tell it’s a respected business. Highly recommend.

Stephanie Lotz Maddison and Chad were amazing. Maddison took the time to call another store to find the necklace a charm on it that I wanted and got the price for me. When I went there to go buy Chad the manager was there to help with a smile and told me the history of the store. From now on this is the only jewelry store I am going to and dealing with. 100% recommend this store. Springfield location but all are great though. Even then Peoria one; the original one I went to.

Kelly squeezed us in for two permanent bracelets even though we called the day of and on the same day as the opening day of her new location! She was lovely and knowledgeable on the permanent jewelry process. The store also had a variety of other items outside of permanent jewelry - we ended up purchasing quite a few things! We will definitely be back and recommend to people we know. Check it out!!
