5 /5 Dennis Csordas: Greg is super friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about rare minerals. The selection is impressive, and the specials and prices are honestly a steal. If you’re into crystals, gemstones, or unique finds, this place is a hidden gem. Highly recommend!

5 /5 Mary Biancalana: Absolutely fantastic rock and gem shop in the heart of historic Geneva Illinois. There are so many wonderful gems, geodes, shells. We learned that many of the shells in coral are sourced from Clearwater Florida. The stones and gemstones come from all over the world! The owner is so knowledgeable and friendly and we learned a lot about the beautiful bracelets and gemstones we purchased. We definitely will be back!

5 /5 A: The Treasure Shop is as much a museum as it is a store. Every piece is curated by the owner and displayed with cards identifying the type and source of the item. Prices on small raw and polished stones are pretty low, so everyone can leave with something! I’ll be visiting again if only to see what treasures are on display. (Who am I kidding? I’ll have to bring something home.)

5 /5 Sara Diemer: Gregs shop is absolutely incredible! He is incredibly knowledgeable about his rocks and minerals and loves sharing it with those who come into his shop. He really does have something for everyone, from the $5 rocks for beginners and kids to the $1000 specimens for the serious collectors. I consider myself a fairly serious collector and yet every time I go into his shop I find something new for my collection that isnt like anything else I have. Definitely worth the visit!

5 /5 Amanda Mapes: If you like examining various sparkly raw specimen and wowing at large unique statement pieces, then this is your shop! Doors on both sides of the store create a comfortable breeze, big bright windows allow natural lighting to illuminate the crystals. Youll find yourself circling the store again and again realizing theres more you missed last time around. If youre from out of town like me, I recommend you make the drive! Many cute locally owned restaurants close by to walk to after you rockhound.
