Kanisha Rowry I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction and growing concern with the handling of my long-term disability claim. The process has been disorganized, frustrating, and filled with delays and inconsistencies that have only compounded the emotional and physical toll this situation has taken on me. Given the sequence of missteps, delays, and outright errors in handling my claim, I feel that I have been discriminated against, treated unfairly and with a total lack of consideration for my well-being. My physical and mental health have been severely impacted, and the stress of this ongoing ordeal has been exacerbated by The Hartford’s failure to properly manage my claim. The mismanagement of my claim, the unwarranted denial of valid disability claims, excessive delays in processing claims, and misinterpreting medical evidence. Relying on in-house medical opinions that contradict the opinions of treating physicians is not only unethical but also constitutes bad faith practices. I have no choice but to now seek legal counsel and pursue this matter through the courts.

My initial homeowner’s insurance was issued by a company that later exited the Florida market. When there were no other good private options at the time, I was transitioned to Citizens. When a private insurer offered to take me on as a customer, I switched to them. The Niki Jones team was invaluable in guiding me through this process. They patiently answered all my questions and explained my options. They made the process easy. While reviewing the policy proposal from my new homeowner’s insurer, Carolina Ruggiero reviewed the proposal and found several ways for me to save money on the new plan. She went above and beyond for me, and I really appreciate it.

One issue we did have and it was taken care of very quickly, was my lack of notification of credit card change to Allstate regarding the insurance on the Golf Cart. He was quick to notify me and I updated my card so Cart insurance could be paid.
