1 /5 Scott Magee: When we purchased our house, we were referred to this company by our agent. All was well until the recent hurricanes. While we had no claim (and havent with the same company in over 10 years), we were told we were being dropped and sent to another company (Slide). This transpired right before our escrow was to be paid. When we contacted Diane, we were told " this is the cheapest. If you want to shop around, you can." We did, and guess what...we were able to stay with the same company, with better coverage for a few bucks more than what we had been charged on the old policy. Diane did not send in the paperwork to cancel the policy with Slide until AFTER the escrow was paid to them. Its been well over a month, and we are still trying to get this money back from Slide. Ive worked with agents before. Its always been my understanding they are/were supposed to work for you as they get a cut in the selling of the policy. Diane did NOTHING. I do not recommend using this company for any needs at all.
