5 /5 Roy Mallett: I was put in touch with Scott @ Brightway because my current insurance company was so expensive. After obtaining my 4-Point inspection and Wind mitigation report, Scott was able to provide us with same coverage for 60% less than out current policy. He provided honest, through customer service. Very dedicated, knowledgeable and professional. HIGHLY recommend him and his company!

1 /5 Carrie Peterson: DO NOT USE THIS AGENCY! I didnt want to even give one star, but have to, to post a review at all. I have been a loyal customer for 12 YEARS! And I have been calling them for 2 months trying to get policy, that Ive had for 12 YEARS renewed. They DO NOT return phone calls. Im not sure what their issue is as I have had great responses from them in the past, but recently it has gone to crap. If you value your time, go anywhere else. I do not EVER leave reviews and I NEVER leave bad reviews, as I dont seem them as fair most of the time, but this one was well deserved. So now after 12 years I have 2 weeks to find a new agency and a new policy with NO help from someone Ive felt confident in for 12 years! That is a long time to be with the same insurance agency and company. Brightway Insurace, The McKay Agency can know kick rocks as far as Im concerned. I will however find someone to report them to. BBB. Some insurance agency board that I am sure exists. If you are not concerned with your clients, why do this. A call or simple email would have helped, but Im the one calling and being told "they know about your situation and should be sending you new quotes shortly" well that is NOT happening and at this point I do not expect it to either. Again, if you are reading this PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE FIND ANOTHER AGENCY TO USE!!!!!

1 /5 Sean Heggan: Wow, exact same story as Zach! Started my policy 3 weeks early, also blamed the closing company for not keeping them updated, even though I personally updated Scott via email. Refused to refund any money and also said they are too busy. Not even a sorry. To add insult to injury, they never sent my cancelation, tried blaming me for not docusigning, I also have that as evidence like the date change. Awaiting my refund now; Ill probably never see the 3 weeks of overpaid premium. Stay away at all costs, they should probably be investigated for unfair business practices.

1 /5 Zach Schneider: This company incorrectly began my policy 3 weeks prior to my closing on my home. I asked Scott McKay to refund me the overpayment they collected from the lender for the time period prior to my owning the home and he refused to do so, blaming the error on the title company for not sending closing docs after closing. Not to mention, my premium just doubled upon renewal. I have since canceled my policy and switched to Kin, which offers a much lower premium and better customer service.
