My wedding ring broke in less than a month of wearing it — a diamond had completely fallen out. On July 15th, I brought it to Bellagio Jewelers for repair. They took my ring, gave me a ticket, and even wrote down my phone number incorrectly, which meant I never got a single update.
After weeks of me calling and chasing them, they finally told me on August 1st my ring was “ready.” When I went to pick it up, it was immediately clear they had no idea what they were doing. They were completely confused about the insurance coverage I had purchased, and kept calling a so-called “manager” who apparently never works there — and may not even exist.
When they finally brought out my ring, I was horrified. Instead of properly repairing it, they had done what looked like a cheap, sloppy patch job. The diamonds looked dusty, cracked, and glued together. Where one of my three rectangle diamonds should have been, they had filled the space with half a broken diamond and a tiny mismatched stone. There was still a gaping hole where the original diamond had fallen out! My ring looked ten times worse after their “repair” than it did before I brought it in.
Even the women working in the store admitted the jeweler had done a horrendous job. Instead of owning their mistake and replacing the ring, they tried to upsell me on a brand-new ring and told me I just needed to “pay the difference.” Absolutely unbelievable.
Since August 1st, I’ve been told my ring was “sent back to the jeweler,” but I’ve had zero calls or updates. I’ve asked twice to speak to a manager and was told “the manager doesn’t work here” — then the employee quickly backtracked to “he’s not here.” The dishonesty and lack of accountability is shocking.
At this point, I have no confidence in Bellagio Jewelers. They are running what feels like a scam, selling low-quality diamonds and providing terrible service. If I don’t hear back immediately, I will have no choice but to report my ring as stolen.
Save yourself the money, the stress, and the heartbreak. Do not trust Bellagio Jewelers.
