1 /5 ashley grove: I had a horrible experience with Amber Word, State Farm! I called on 2-24 at 9:14am and was lied to by an agent about coverage for my condo which ended up costing me thousands of dollars, i have been a customer for over 3 years and depended on them for knowledge and truthful information which they neglected to do! I reached out to Amber Word and she lied to me and said there was no record of my call that anyone from her office talked to me and I sent her a screenshot and let her know I have blink cameras as well since I was talking on speakerphone. The same thing happened to my neighbor. She was lied to about coverage as well months before me and the Mount Dora State Farm is aware of Amber Word’s State Farm misinforming people about coverage. When I told Amber Word what happened a couple weeks ago she said she would investigate and call me back, which she neglected to do! I had to call and follow up with her and again she lied and said there was no evidence that anyone from her office talked to me and then I emailed her a screenshot and she ignored that. She also stated that everyone has to input information in the computer when they talk to people, and she said they have no record of that which she’s either lying to me or her agent didn’t do what she was supposed to do. Amber also said that it was a quick phone call and it was a nine minute conversation so that’s a lie as well. I let her know she looked at my policy and my address and she still gave me incorrect information that cost me thousands of dollars! I just want to let people know about my experience since I ended up repiping my entire house because her agent said they couldn’t write a condo policy for my new buyer, which was a lie. I thought after three years of being a client with them they would be honest this has been catastrophic and cost me $$$ because of their incompetence! I needed assistance and they failed me! Its essential that agents provide accurate and honest information to their clients. I hope they take this feedback seriously to improve future interactions. The lack of integrity is concerning and I will be filing complaints with multiple agencies.
