1 /5 Eugene G: Terrible Experience – Avoid This Broker!
I had a very unpleasant experience with Cariana Luzardo from the Cape Coral Geico insurance office. She initially sent me several quotes, and I responded to the one I wanted, asking her to proceed with binding the policy. She collected my credit card information, but when I received the confirmation email, the policy limits were lower than what I requested, and the price was over $200 more than quoted.
When I called her to fix the issue, she became argumentative, insisted it was my fault, and then rudely hung up on me. I dont understand how difficult it is to simply take the quote I approved and turn it into a policy—let alone why the price changed so drastically.
This felt like a classic bait-and-switch tactic, and the lack of professionalism was unacceptable. I strongly recommend finding another broker to work with—this one is both incompetent and dishonest.
