Bob Lepa I moved to Lake Worth in 1985 and had an agent that did us well for time being. At some point, I bought a "fixer upper" and got a windstorm quote of $8,000+. After spending a large amount of money on impact window and "strapping" my roof down, the agent told me to celebrate my windstorm had dropped to just over $4,000.
