Ruth Ann Barrett Must visit this shop in Santa Cruz. Sarah is top notch jewelry designer as well as a collector of objets dart which are not necessarily very pricey but you value for their beauty and craftsmanship. In addition to earrings I bought some wonderful Japanese incense, a small Asian inspired round wooden box with cover for my smaller earrings I wear frequently, and a long necklace to dress up some plain T’s I wear in the summer. I spent a good bit of time in the shop and enjoyed the conversation with Sarah as she re-strung one of her necklaces I inadvertently broke and which was a gift from a friend. Here are some pics of my “finds.” It took an hour to drive from the East Bay to enjoy the day at the beach to include, of course, a visit at the Salt Jewelry studio and then lunch!

I loved that each piece has a story which she shared. My choices came from Spain. I loved knowing the origin of where it was found! Walking with a walker into a shop filled with fragile items can be daunting but she was very kind and helpful and did not make me feel out of place. I will definitely be back!
