1 /5 Jason Williams: I had a ~$500 watch delivered for repair to these guys in the mall. Overall, from outside it looked a pretty descent and classy place, so I decided to go in.
I will make this painful experience short, and simply tell you that if you want to buy a watch, and did your homework about pricing etc, its fine you can go ahead and buy it. If you intend to REPAIR your watch.. stay as far away as possible.
First, I was told that the watch was not repairable, so a new mechanism would have to be installed worth $100. Long story short, and because the watch meant a lot to me, I had them "replace" the mechanism for $100, and NEVER received the old one back, as originally requested and normally expected (I am still wondering how much that worth, since it disappeared).
On top of everything else, the new mechanism does not fit well in the watch resulting the crown to be left slightly out. Being a water resistant watch, I tried taking a shower, which resulted to having the watch filled with water. On top of everything else, the newly installed mechanism got rusty. I can literally see rust on the face of my watch, making it look a pretty cheap and bad watch.
The choice is your when it comes to his repairs.
