Rischs Jewelers Emporium - Atascadero (CA)

Melanie Guralnick Ive been a customer of Tiffanys for 35 years, typically shopping at the South Coast Plaza or Beverly Hills location. I had not stopped into my local store in the desert before until yesterday, which was an oversight on my part. The store was elegant and airy with lots of natural light from the large windows, something that was missing in Costa Mesa. (although I was told it was recently expanded, so perhaps it looks different now) I liked the layout of the showroom as it was purposefully uncluttered with lots of space to navigate the showcases. I was fortunate to work with a sales person by the name of Cynthia, who was super knowledgeable about the jewelry and was easy to chat with. That goes a long way with me. The selection of jewelry was more modest than the other 2 stores I mentioned, but there was a 4 carat solitaire ring that was pretty spectacular. I would recommend shopping this store when visiting El Paseo.

Jackie Tran The lady was the sweetest, she explained all of the prices very well. The store has a wide range of jewelry, hats, and adorable items. I got a few mushrooms from there.

Erika Gaona Worst place to come get your newborn baby’s ears. They tell you one price but charge you another. Before piercing my ears I asked the lady with the highlights what is the price? She told me $40 I checked my credit card and I was being charged $70. I go back to ask for a $30 refund and the Asian lady gives me $20 scamming me the $10 not much of a difference but stealing from your customers is crazy. But crazy. Don’t ever come here.

Pooja Joshi Yoli is the best and so wonderful to work with. My fiance first met Yoli when she assisted in designing my engagement ring- She was patient and respectful of all of our decisions, while simultaneously giving us the best advice (without trying to upsell). She then helped us design our wedding bands. She put in so much detail and care, making sure everything was perfect before we took it home. Cannot recommend her enough and cant wait to go back and get my future jewelry from her too!

Wade Yu Great place for a great selection of afghan clothes and accessories for a great deal and the only actual afghan clothing store in the area. Shame on the sensetive people who don’t get what they want giving them 1 star, the owners Khala Nasrin and kaka Fahim are the biggest sweethearts I’ve met. Be friendly and respectful and you’ll get the same energy back.

Jade My partner and I went to dozens of jewelers and did months of research when we were trying to find my engagement ring. I had an idea of what I wanted, but I couldnt find it anywhere. When we found Skalet Family Jewelers, our experience was incredible. The owner, Howard, was welcoming and friendly. One of the rings felt really close to what I was looking for but it wasnt quite right. I mentioned this to Howard, and he explained how he could customize the design and made me feel comfortable asking questions about it. I didnt feel pressured to make any decisions on the spot. My fiancé and I talked about it outside and decided to go for it. When I saw the design for the first time, it was beautiful. It captured the heart of what I wanted, but there were a few aspects that werent perfect. Howard made some amazing suggestions and I loved them. Howard texted me updates about the design and sent examples of different gem options. He was really accommodating of our budget and found us a center stone that was stunning and in our price range. My partner finished the process with Howard and gave me the ring at Sacramento Pride. I was in awe. It is the most beautiful ring Ive ever seen. Its better than I had imagined and I could not be happier with the results. My experience was above and beyond expectations. I will be a life long customer.

We were getting a ring resized (yes they have all the equipment needed to do this) but that was just the beginning of the full array of services they offer.
