I have acquired a beautiful collection over the years and they are the only place I would consider spending significant amounts of money on jewelry because I trust them implicitly. When my fiancé, now husband, and I became engaged in 2004 we came to Carmel to select a ring. When it was ready we arrived at the boutique to find that Alex and Peter had called my grandmother (who lived in Pebble Beach and was also a customer) and they opened a bottle of champagne to celebrate our engagement. I cannot speak highly enough about them.

5 /5 Becky Lai Long: We got married in May 2005. I kept walking by B & G Jewelers on Ocean Avenue in downtown Carmel with a close girlfriend. She knew Bill and I were discussing marriage after being together for 10 years. Of course, their window display of beautiful hand-made jewelry immediately allured me inside. So my friend and I went in and looked and looked at the many unique engagement and wedding rings. They were all so delicious looking. Finally, I came across a vintage engagement ring with filigree and a round diamond that looked perfect on my finger. I fell in love with it right away. My now husband is so happy he purchased it, and that I love it! My girlfriend loved it as much as I. Again, my same friend went here looking for a wedding band. I found a delicate band with embedded diamonds. Loved it because it would not snag any of my clothes. Bought that right away. Did not choose a matching set for my engagement and wedding rings. Six months later, my friend and I decided on a whim to visit the jewelry store. I came across two baguette bands with the embedded diamonds. One was bigger and the other smaller. I called my husband and told him only about the bigger one. Ha! I wear my engagement ring on my right hand and the two wedding bands on the left. Both look fabulous and get many compliments. We take our bands in every six months and get the rhodium polished and the diamonds cleaned. They look brand new. Alex is the best jeweler and his brother, Peter is the best gemologist on the Monterey Peninsula. I would not hesitate to recommend his jewelry store. Five Stars! B. Long

5 /5 Rob Terziyan: I visited Carmel for a quick getaway with my family. We found this gem in the heart of Carmel-By-The-Sea with a huge selection rings. My mother picked one out she fell in love with and she was able to get great pricing from the owners. They were very accommodating and sized the ring on her right away too. We also visited their website with a ton of inventory and my sister fell in love with the attached photo. Would come back during my next visit!
