5 /5 Mike Cabellon: I found Artisan LA on my own, but since working with them, Ive discovered friends of mine who have also happily worked with Julio in the past, and in turn recommended him to other friends with upcoming nuptials. Julio is absolutely the man. When I came in for an engagement ring, I picked out a vintage ring. He told me to wait to resize it until I could bring my fiancee in, and then worked with us when she decided to make a custom ring instead. When it came time for the wedding bands, there was no doubt in my mind that we had to go back to Julio. He was honest and frank about what he could do and what he couldnt, and I couldnt be happier with my wedding band. Were going to continue going to Julio for all of our jewelry needs for as long as were married, which is to say forever.

From picking out the stone, stone suggestions, and size and scale suggestions. He knows your stuff! You also put up with my extreme level of perfection for the early design aspect. My wife loves her ring and Im proud to have worked with Julio and helped design it. It is a family heirloom we will always treasure. Id highly recommend working with Julio.

After doing some research, my fiancé found Artisan and it was the perfect fit for us. Julio worked within our budget, listened to my vision, and gave his expert opinion on some considerations for long-term wear. He patiently worked with us on the design until it was just as we wanted. I loved that he made a 3D printed version for me to try as well. I’m so happy with the ring and my fiancé and I were really pleased with the result! Julio and his entire team were great to work with. I initially reached out to Julio because I came across one of his original designs that I wanted to recreate for an engagement ring. I was not the most informed about jewelry and was pleasantly surprised when he gave me advice based on my desires and which stones would be the most durable and resilient after daily use. This selfless sharing of knowledge left a great impression on me, because prior to speaking with him about wanting an emerald ring, I was working with another jeweler to design a ring for me who never informed me that emeralds were soft and prone to damage. Therefore, between Julio’s obvious talent and creativity, deciding to work with him instead was a no-brainer. Not only is Julio extremely knowledgeable, but he is also very great at listening to your desires and working with you to create the perfect design. I am very grateful for his patience and understanding through out this process and I will jump at any chance to recommend Artisan LA to anyone in the future. And of course…I ADORE my ring. 5 /5 tom ferenczi: Truly a great shop and custom jewelry designer! Julio Benez and his team have been a delight to work with and i am extremely happy with the signet ring they created for me. My father had given me, some years ago, a small onyx stone that he had found as a child while walking along some train tracks in Europe. The stone had the bust of an Etruscan Man/carving of Apollo or a Roman Soldier on it. Since my father’s passing a few months ago i wanted to set it in a ring . Julio walked me through his process, we had a couple of zoom calls to look at his renderings and we decided on a mold and a finished design. The ring came out just as the renderings if not better and i couldn’t be happier with the way it ooks and feels ( he even helped resizing it when i ended up choosing a tighter fit) thanks again to the team there including Jennifer who also helped me pick out a pair of earrings for my wife while i was there! :)
