1 /5 Nicole Swan: ZERO STARS!! One of the worst departments on campus by far and the WORST department I’ve ever experienced in my college career (and I’ve been to a few colleges). This department waited 3 months after I submitted my FAFSA to tell me my forms were wrong. They didn’t even tell me what was wrong, all I received was a vague message about it. Then, it took me a month (dealing with 4 different people) to figure out what was actually wrong with my forms as no one could tell me why my forms were flagged. I got my forms fixed and resubmitted within 2 weeks. Now, over a 1 month later, I have had no response to my emails, phone calls, and no one is available for zoom calls to figure out if my forms have been re-evaluated. I can’t go in person as I work the one day they are open for drop ins and classes start in less than 2 weeks. This has been a huge waste of my time this summer, it should NOT have to be this difficult and frustrating to get answers. I guess I’ll be borrowing money from someplace else to take care of this terms bills. This department needs to do better for its students in terms of communication, offer more drop in hours so those who work can actually swing by when they aren’t working, and hire more staff to fill student demand.
