2 /5 Hobo nate: Constant outages never actually get what I pay for customer service is horrible. Never get anybody on the line. They can actually do anything other than say unplugged my Internet, and plug it back in.

1 /5 Cyrus: Poorly educated staff. Next to no help in resolving near constant internet issues. Would definitely never recommend to anyone looking for internet services. Ever.

1 /5 J Racer: Our neighborhood spent over $60,000 with Rock Island for them to lay fiber to 14 houses over 2-years ago. 1 house just got the work completed a few months ago and there is still 1 that is unable to hook up. They mis- represented the costs and time frames consistently and the fiber backbone was installed 18 months after the date they promised. Then they tried to bill us for another $15,000. Beware if you work with them. They do not really care (they are a utility and the only game in town).

2 /5 Nick: They make claims about there LTE/4G speeds that are not even remotely accurate. As well, connection strength varies greatly from one minute to the next and my modem/router is in the tested most optimal location within my house. Recently they no longer advertise speeds because they know they cannot provide consistent ones. Expect nothing above 12mbps if you live far from town. It is one of the only ISPs on the Island and the other is not very good either, so id recommend this one.
