Farmers Insurance - John Bick - Renton (WA)

1 /5 Laura Taylor: Avoid This man at all costs!!! He took our money for both insurances and never finished setting up the accounts!!! They both defaulted! When called to see what happened he refused email or call back! My husband was willing to let his huge error go and let him fix it but instead of being a man he hid and ignored us! We ended up having to file fraud against the payment and go with another company! We understand mistakes happen but he didn’t bother to fix it or even acknowledge us after he took our money! The poor ladies that would answer the phone I’m sure were so embarrassed that he was to much of a coward to call back and acknowledge his mistake! Don’t waste your time! He loves to talk until he takes your money then nothing!!

1 /5 Janet Fawcett: John was great for awhile. I always got a response from him until this past month — now it’s as if he’s disappeared off the face of the earth. . . . No response to emails, no returned phone calls, nothing. . . I called Farmers and they’ve transferred me to a new agent. I sincerely hope he’s ok and hasn’t had something terrible happen to him.

5 /5 Frederick Frans: We hit 2 years with our food truck business and were lost on business insurance until we got lucky being referred to John by the WSTFTA! These two years have been the best experience I’ve ever had with a broker, John is more than a broker but considered a friend by now, he gets us what we need with lightening speed, after hours, weekends, and yes even on holidays!! We will NEVER go anywhere else period. John even goes out of his way to support our small business on occasion :) THANK YOU John Bick !

He has made the process simple and seamless for both myself and my clients; and every one of them has been satisfied with his service after the initial transition. I will continue referring him to my clients that move to Washington.

3 /5 The Sprinkler Guy Sarah B: John is overly helpful when he is selliing you insurance. If you want to cancel early, you will get nothing back from him. Be sure to call his office if you need to cancel a policy. I run a business and he did get insurance for us quickly when ours had lapsed. (Double $$$ what it was in previous years....however) I was grateful. I requested a review 6 months into the policy to get it lowered by email. I told him I would need to go somewhere else if he could not lower the policy. He responded quickly to the email stating he was unable to lower the policy. I understood, but told him I had to find a cheaper policy. I shopped and found one 1/2 of what I was paying John. I emailed him 3 seperate times (Monday, Wed and Thurs) requesting to cancel my policy. I even requested it thru his website. No Response. He usually responded within 2 hours. Very quick in the past. One day before our scheduled payment is going to get taken out of our account, I decide to call the office because I had heard nothing from John. I received and immediate response. My payment had been cancelled. Within 3 minutes, I get an email from John saying HE DID Receive my emailed requests to cancel. However, since he did get me insurance when no one else would and I never responded to his emails trying to sell me more insurance or bundle products. He did not feel the need to respond to me requests. (I guess.) This is what he said in the email sent to me after cancellation. "I hear your frustration. However, I have provided a service when none would. I have attempted to communicate with you on a regular basis and it has been unreturned. Good Luck to you, John Bick" He Really Disappointed me. He was always very quick to respond to me up until I wanted to cancel a policy. Then Crickets. Really passive aggressive. Strange salesman behavior. IDK. Seems to me John is unwilling to help if it means $$$ coming out of his pocket. He needs to think about his customers needs & how he presents himself as a business man/customer service person. He was very responsive with emails until cancellation. He attempted to build a relationship with us by trying to sell bundles and more products. He tried to sell. When I wanted to cancel. He disappeared and did not answer to my requests.
