1 /5 Melody Mercadante: If I could give zero stars. I left this place last night shaking and in tears. I left my wedding rings three weeks ago to have them fitted together so they don’t spin around my finger. When I went to pick them up (late), because they weren’t ready when they said they would be, the jeweler had not centered one of my channel bands and he took them down to a smaller size, which I did not ask for. When I pointed this out, the lady working (who might be the owner), was clearly upset with me. She told me to leave my rings and she would send them back. Reluctantly, I did! Went to pick them up last night, and to my absolute horror, they are so damaged, I have to now take them to a professional jeweler and see if they can even be fixed. Still not centered, bottom is scratched and dented, and one channel band is lopsided. I was shaking and crying all while the owner was demanding payment for ruining my rings. She was angry with me for being upset. She blamed it on Fred Meyer. She said that’s the jeweler she used. I will be verifying that information today as my husband actually works for the Fred Meyer corporate office. I will also be reaching out to my attorney today. I wanted to share my story with anyone who will be taking any jewelry to them to be fixed or altered. One of my rings was my moms wedding band who passed away six years ago. It is very special to me and I hope it can be fixed. I wish I had read the reviews.
