They took complete advantage of me & my situation. I DO NOT recommend them to anyone. Sadly, I was in a desperate situation & I needed to sell my mothers jewelry to help pay off some of the debt she had left me. Doras & Gary offered me the lowest offer I would accept. I explained to them the horrible situation my mom went through & how many problems she left me, they pretended to be Christians & they even said a long prayer for me to convince me they cared about my terrible situation. After doing the deal, I realized just how much I was taken advantage of & there was so many pieces (over 400), I accidentally gave them my mothers ring that has my birth stones & also her birth stones on it. It is a unique piece that really only has value to our family, no one else will ever offer them any real $$ for it. Once I realized I made the tragic mistake, I called them to explain I made one small error & that they were not supposed to get that ring in that deal. I hoped they would do the Christian thing & let me have it back, but NO. Doras lays some trip on me about how it is worth $1,000.00 but they would do me a favor & sell it back to me for $500.00. Keep in mind, I just sold them over 400 pieces @ only $20.00 each. Gold, Silver, Pearls, you name it & there was tons of it. So, they basically paid me $20.00 for this ring & NOW THEY WANT $500.00??? These people are criminals in sheeps clothing. They even said they melted down some of the gold from my deal to pay their taxes and also to pay for their recent trip/vacation, but yet, no gratitude towards my making that all happen for them. They are greedy & it is NOT Christian to behave this way. I will never support them now that I know them this well. I give 1 star because they are morally corrupt, they lack common decency, and customers deserve better. I am not posting this to bash them, this review is honest start to finish & I posted it to help my community. No one should be treated this way. Here is a photo of the ring they gave me $20.00 for & they wanted me to pay them $500.00 for it back. DO NOT SUPPORT THESE CROOKS.

5 /5 Northwest Greener: This is a nice local jewelry store. The owners are very kind and take their time making sure you get exactly what type of ring you want. I got my engagement ring and wedding ring here! Will definitely be coming back!

Over the past 6 months I have formed a friendship and a business relationship with them mutually. They have done a lot to help our small community. Living in Shelton for the majority of my life, it sure is nice to be blessed with these kinds of people. If I hear of anyone that needs or wants to find an exceptional jeweler, I will not hesitate to recommend Case By Case.

5 /5 Gary Cronce: Case by Case response to Patrick’s negative review, First, we are sorry for the loss of Patrick’s mother. We are also sorry to see this review, as we strive to have a positive relationship with our clients. Patrick came into our shop with an assortment of silver, gold and costume jewelry he wanted to sell.      We made an offer, and he negotiated our price up an additional $2,500. We shook hands, he signed the agreement and left satisfied. He even came back in a couple of days and gave us some more jewelry boxes and bags. A month later he wanted to buy a ring back. We gave him a price and he said he would think about it. 4 months later he texted us, called us criminals and said he was going to write a negative review against us, and he did. We ended up giving him back the ring he wanted, he thanked us and said he will try to remove the negative review, and maybe he did. We never paid him $20 for a $1000 gold chain. When you buy something, you expect to make a profit. We paid over $10,000 for the items and have not come close to getting our investment back, perhaps we never will.
