5 /5 Gerald Parr: Well, this is an interesting one for the books. I came to the store the Friday before Labor Day, thinking they were open (Google said yes), but when I arrived the sign on the door said open, but all was dark. Hmmm, maybe just havent opened. Nobody inside, so I emailed the address from Google and said "Your ad and door says open today, but youre not?" Unfortunately, Mr Android "I know better" spell checker (or my big fingers) jumped in and sent a somewhat different text, only changing AD to something else, where the S is right next to the D. OK, a couple days later I looked at my email and thought...well, you know. Anyway, I sent an apology on behalf of Mr Android and myself and they said they were sorry they werent open. SO, on with the review. I was pleasantly surprised with the place and expected to see people in suits, fancy dresses or whatever and everyone was casually (comfortably) dressed. The conversation was very professional, instructive, informative and sometimes even funny. (yes, they didnt know about the foo-foo) with the email until I mentioned it. It was not an instant expectation of sales or whatever. Its customer oriented, and if you dont see what suits you, pet the cute puppy and be on your merry way. The place is arranged well and able to give you on-the-spot information. Theyve been in business a long time, and I can see why. Maybe if I decide to get my honey of 39 years, it will be a go-to place. Make it your first stop, if at least out of curiosity.

5 /5 Luke Simmons: This is the place you want. I had an engagement ring that had been pretty badly damaged, and the large chains told me that they either couldn’t or wouldn’t fix it. I went to Carlson, and Fred promptly gave me a very reasonable estimate which was exactly what I paid in the end. All their work is done in-store by real craftsmen with years of experience. The repair wound up being more complicated than we had anticipated, and they spent a lot of extra time and materials on it which they declined to charge me for, even though they would have been well within their rights to do so. The turnaround time was fast, and the ring looks better than new. These folks are the real deal and have absolutely shown me the difference between going to an actual jeweler versus a store that sells jewelry. Highly, HIGHLY recommended.

5 /5 Eric Arzaga: The Carlson Family is simply first class. Customer service rating is 5/5. it’s no wonder they have been around since 1942. Their watch repairman was extremely knowledgeable. I had on a swatch that was going to take three months to repair by sending overseas. I had it done in 24 hrs. Then I had the new band come in a week. Highly recommend the Carlson Family for any watch repairs.

5 /5 Bennie Rohde: So they gave me a great deal on a new stone(Diamond) and setting. Was so pleased when I picked it up that I purchased another Marquis cut ring for my daughter, spent a pretty penny, but it made my daughter and my wife happy. Priceless. I will add pics later

They listened to our wants for the ring design and it’s so much better than we expected! 10/10 will come back for any jewelry repair/design/resizing!
