1 /5 Randa Bedair: Years ago, I used this agency for my home owners policy. I was in contact with Jaclyn the whole time, she was great. I purchased a new home last year and spoke with Jaclyn, she helped set up the policy, everything was great til now, a year later for renewal.
First of all, I found that $238 was added as "policy change" to my account. Also, my policy had gone up by $1000! I called to ask why it had gone up. I spoke with Angela and she was SO unhelpful to help me see where I can make changes so my policy can go down. I finally went line by line, asking what is this? Can i change this, till finally a line item she mentions "oh you can increase this deductible and your policy will go down by $1,000. Great. Sign me up.
Now, what is this $238 "policy change"? They tell me, there was a mistake on THEIR END. Either Jaclyn or their system set my account up for Mortgage pay, when I had paid in full for the previous year, and received an auto-pay discount for this.
Corey says she needs to escalate this to Tyler, the agency owner. I say, I dont want my policy to lapse, so I can pay in full BUT I need to be guaranteed that my $238 will be refunded, as this was a mistake on their agency or Allstates system. Corey says she cannot guarantee this, but she will escalate this to Tyler and he will have to get an approval for this. I asked if I can speak with Tyler, since he is the agency owner and decision maker. She tells me she will talk to him Monday when he is in.
The following week on Monday, no call. I call again on Tuesday, and Corey says "Tyler put the request for this $238 to be put through. I asked what happened to me speaking with Tyler as I requested. She says "he was busy". She also tells me it will take around 5 business days to get a response to this approval or denial. I SHOULD NOT BE CHARGED FOR THIS MISTAKE AND SHOULD BE GUARANTEED A REFUND FOR THIS $238 that the agency does not want to take accountability for.
It has now been 2 weeks and I still have not received a response from Corey or ANYONE from this agency.
I called yesterday morning and left a message for Corey, and she has not bothered to reach back out.
It is CLEAR this agency only cares for your money. They do not care for their clients. I am now lapsed on my homeowner insurance, and have to continue with this agency due to their negligence and lack of action on my account.
