5 /5 David Morton: Mr Ortiz is a wonderful jewler and did an amazing job creating a custom ring for me, and my wife! I would recommend him to anyone for his skills and he did it for such a good price, he was super fair and honest. I will be coming here for everything jewelry related!

1 /5 Aesha Wilson: I needed to have two rings sized today. Took my rings to one of the jewelry stores that I frequent but the bench jeweler was not at the store today so I decided to try one of the local jewelers, CJ David and Co. I have used them before but their turn around time can be a bit extensive at times but they do great work. So, on my way to CJs I saw Ortiz Jewelry and decided to stop in and give them a try. I walked in to no acknowledge, no hello, Ill be right with you, nothing. This man looked up, looked at me and kept doing what he was doing. I stood there for about 1minute and turn right around and walked out of that store. I do believe that was the owner of the store. I said right then and there, I would not spend a red cent at that store. I am a lover of fine jewelry and have a pretty nice wardrobe of nice pieces and I am always in need of some type of repairs. CJDavid charged me $450 to size two very nice rings. I found the price to be a bit high but I would gladly give them my business because I know they do excellent work from past experience but most importantly they know how to treat paying customers with respect! If I could give zero stars I would!!! POOR SERVICE!!

5 /5 Allison Brown: Came highly recommended and did not disappoint! Went in to have a stone replaced in my diamond cluster engagement ring. He advised I have the claws replaced as they were very worn and I would end up losing more stones over time. The ring is 19 years old and I knew myself that the claws were worn and therefore did not feel like he was just trying to make more money out of me. He charged a VERY reasonable price and I am delighted with my ring - it has been completely rebuilt and looks like new!

He is consistently reliable, and he will work with you until you are pleased with the finished product. Both he and his wife are lovely people, and we are fortunate to have their family business here in Katy/Cinco Ranch!
