5 /5 J H: We had a unique and stressful situation when my wife’s wedding ring was mishandled by the jeweler. What could have been a nightmare was completely turned around thanks to Monica G.(store manager). She went above and beyond personally advocating for us, keeping us informed when customer service fell short, and ensuring everything was resolved in the best way possible. Monica’s professionalism, diligence, and genuine care not only fixed the situation but created lifelong loyalty from us as customers. She is the reason we will continue to trust Kay Jewelers. If every representative operated the way Monica does, there would never be a doubt about customer satisfaction. Truly outstanding service! If anyone has had a problem with Kays stores before I would recommend changing that opinion by going here and talking with Monica or her staff. Theyll do whats right. Thats for sure!

They made sure he was taking care of with picking our rings the beginning of walking in the store to the end of walking out . Customers service was awesome thank you ladies and thank you KAY

1 /5 Ferhat Akar: My disappointments with the engagement ring I purchased from Kay Jewelry in San Marcos 20 days ago: 1- Before the sale, any kind of promise can be made. When buying the ring, I was told that resizing would be free of charge. However, when my fiancée went there, she was told it would cost around $200, unless she purchased an extended warranty, which was pushed on us as a cheaper option. Charging extra for something that was promised to be free within 30 days is unacceptable. 2- For the resizing, just a few hours after requesting it, we were told the ring had already been shipped out and that nothing could be done anymore, and that the process would take 2–3 weeks. When we said we wanted to return it, we were told again that nothing could be done. Apparently, the stores don’t communicate with each other—or so they want us to believe. I truly regret ever shopping with you.

Every visit, they take their time with each customer, answering questions and ensuring everyone leaves satisfied. It’s one of the reasons we keep coming back. During a recent visit, we witnessed an unfortunate situation where a customer came in clearly agitated, muttering under her breath and becoming demanding and accusatory from the moment she entered. Despite the customer’s aggressive and mean-spirited behavior, associate Monica handled the situation with incredible professionalism, calm, and grace. She remained composed, respectful, and patient—even while being unfairly spoken to and verbally abused. Her ability to stay focused on resolving the issue without escalating the situation or compromising her own professionalism was truly admirable. Situations like this can be challenging for anyone, but Monica’s response showed real character and dedication to excellent customer service. She deserves recognition for her composure and for upholding the kind of respectful, welcoming environment that weve always appreciated at this store. Kudos to Monica and the entire team for continuing to provide such a positive and supportive shopping experience—even when faced with difficult circumstances.
