1 /5 Carol Garrett: Worst business I have ever had to deal with. One of Higginbothams agents, has said numerous times that Lucent Health mirrored the BCBS plan that we previously had. Either the insurance agent is completely unaware of what he is selling or he is willfully misconstruing what is being offered. They keep changing the cost of our prescriptions, you never know what the cost is going to be each month when you go pick up your prescriptions. It might be $45.00, compared to $15.00 with BCBS. It has changed repeatedly between $15.00, which is what it is supposed to be, and $45.00. If this is where youre buying your health insurance, be prepared for the Dollar Tree of the industry. And, I might even go as far as saying Im giving them too much credit, Dollar Tree is probably better.

1 /5 Alexis Naccarato: I have been trying since June of 2024 to cancel insurance and get a refund. They finally sent a check and then stopped payment on the check. Cannot get anyone to explain why. Karen Drake has not been honest with my dealing with her. Would not recommend this agency

Nevertheless, this review is being wrote on behalf of an employee of theirs Courtney. Subsidiary whom she work for is Gilliams Ins Agency believe located in Houston. Ive been doing business with Gilliams IA for many years we had a slight misunderstanding on exactly what I was looking for regarding insurance coverage for my trucks and as a result Im having to pay $7,200 for my coverage to continue by the close of business TODAY! I was told by the insurer Progressive the situation could have been rectified but Courtney did not extend her best hand to assist my company in this matter. 4 /5 Evangeline Carpenter: I switched my agency over to Higginbotham about two years ago as our employer insurance broker. They were more cost effective, my reps (Ethan Miller and Melissa Lagunes) are very responsive, theyve been more than happy to find resources and look for opportunities to either save us money or find holistic recommendations to improve our total compensation package. They are on it, having my back when insurance carriers were unreliable, and really treating me like a partner. Ethan and Melissa are incredible and if youre a smaller company looking for a good insurance broker, I absolutely recommend Higginbotham, particularly if you can work with Ethan, Melissa, or Khai.
