1 /5 Kristen Walker: Absolutely ridiculous that I have to call the number to change the automatic payment renewal that I didnt even sign up for. I should be able to change whatever I want regarding MY payment and MY account withput being redirected to calling the company. You lost a customer for making managing my own account so inconvenient. Good job!!

1 /5 Malorie Villalobos: So progressive will add random people whom you have never met or known in your life to your policy. My husband’s insurance went up by over $400. When we looked into it, we noticed an unknown person added to his policy since March. When calling progressive they say that it’s because this person is associated with our address.. but we have lived here since 2019. Had progressive for years. The progressive rep was so unhelpful and acted as if this is on big deal, honestly. So basically paying $1,200 for a person you don’t even know to have driving insurance is tooootally fine by them! As long as they get their money, right! On top of all of this, she had an attitude over the fact that I (the spouse) am not listed on the policy but live in the home. When she sent my husband the form to correct this, she misspelled my name and assumed my birthdate. This made it difficult for him to add me ASAP on a device vs waiting over a week for a paper form to correct her mistake and mail back… and wait longer. When my husband confronted her with this, that was basically her response “oh well you can do it via mail in a week.” Just… WOW. We will most definitely be switching to a different insurance company after this.

1 /5 mason kraft: Ive had Progressive for over two years. When things work normally, it was great. But I had a recent technical issue issue with my account login and found it impossible to talk to a real person over the phone. Instead, I have to deal with a useless AI phone bot that mischaracterizes the problem, pretends to help, then hangs up on me regardless of what I say. Infuriating. I am considering switching on this alone. Stop using useless and dysfunctional AI hotlines.

1 /5 Amy Hart: I thought Progressive was great insurance company until I had a property damage associated with a vehicle under progressive insurance. I had a poor experience with Progressive Insurance just flat out denying any negligence - citing weather related event. Just because it is a weather related event does not imply non-negligence.

1 /5 Sierra Bottoms: Horrible horrible car insurance company. Been a faithful customer for 2 years and my husband got a new debit card. He was under the impression autopay was set up with his account number and routing number. The payment didn’t go through and we didn’t realize until we got a bill in the mail. No phone call, nothing. Our bill is now 30 dollars more per month. When we tried to add autopay again they are now saying it won’t be the same price as before, but 20 dollars more per month instead of 30 and there is nothing they can do. Absolutely ridiculous. We will be leaving asap. You’ve lost yet another loyal customer as I can see from your plethora of bad reviews on here. Corporate greed is out of control.
