Sherry Gaible James Avery never has a sale but they did offer a good deal on their charms. So, I gathered the three adopted granddaughters and had a shopping spree this hot afternoon. I have been coming up empty for their birthday and Christmas gifts the past year or so. Starting a charm bracelet or add on necklace is a great way for them to design their own gift. This JA store seems brand new, but the very personable and helpful store manager, Karen, said the store is actually five years old. Could have fooled me. We had Karen and her assistant Morgan"s full attention for a good part of the afternoon. The brilliantly lit glass cases, with sample charms, were so enticing, but the girls (11, 9 and 7) made wonderful decisions on their own. I hope this is a tradition that we can keep for years to come.

However, I have to say that Angela has created a few custom jewelry pieces for me, and every experience has been absolutely wonderful! She really takes the time to listen and provides great suggestions when I need them. Not only is her craftsmanship top-notch, but she also has such a lovely personality.
